The Start Line

The start line brings about endless emotions.

Thoughts rapid fire as we begin a journey that, in the case of a marathon, will test us emotionally and physically for hours.

Within the hundred’s to ten’s of thousands of marathoners toeing that start line with you, there are runners who question if they can even finish and there are others confident in their result before they’ve taken their first stride.

With the help of the Sub Four Hour Marathon (SFHM), you will toe that start line confident that you will finish in the top 25%. That’s the mindset SFHM will get you in no matter what running level you are starting with.

What’s The Start Line

The Start Line page is your home.

As you tackle the training and the lead up to the marathon, this page is your home base for guidance.

The front page of Sub Four Hour Marathon could have just been diving right into what you should run your first week out. That just doesn’t feel right though. Any time I take on an encompassing project, I want to have a home base that I can jump back to whenever possible. That’s how The Start Line page will work for this training.

Throughout training, if you are unsure of what to do or how to approach something, come right back here (bookmark it) or click the logo in the top right and you will find yourself right back here. This is your safe, comforting zone.

The last thing we want is for you to get lost half way through training and not know where to go to refocus.

How the Sub Four Hour Marathon Works

On the left hand side of this and every page, you will find your navigation guide.

Click the corresponding page title on the left and you will be taken to the page that breaks down the corresponding approach.

“Why isn’t this built into an eBook?”

Sub Four Hour Marathon is specifically built for for ease-of-use and ease-of-reference (yep, made that phrase up). The last thing you need to be doing is searching everywhere through an eBook to find a specific aspect to our training. Just go straight to the dedicated page for what you are looking for.

Here’s a quick rundown of each page:

  • Before You Commit | What you should know pre-commitment
  • Gear | What to and, more importantly, not to buy for the training
  • Race Selection | Where and when to run your marathon are often overlooked
  • Training Schedule | The meat and potatoes – Set up your plan of attack
  • Strength Training | Learn how to build up your ENTIRE body
  • Race Weekend | How to approach and prepare for the last week prior to race day
  • Race Day | How to prepare for what you’ve been training months for
  • Post Marathon | How to reduce lingering issues following race day

Each page is in-depth information, guidance and advice to help you run a sub four hour marathon. If you’re struggling to find what you need, you can always contact us.

Now What Do I Do Besides Run

To recap:

  1. The Start Line is Your Go-To Homepage
  2. The Page Navigation on the Top Left of Each Page Takes You Directly to Where You Want to Go

If you can follow those two principles, life at Sub Four Hour Marathon is going to be a breeze for you.

Now, I want you to dive into Before You Commit as wanting to run a sub four hour marathon is a lot easier when you 1) know what you are getting into and 2) are still crazy enough to fully commit your focus to it over the next few months.
